Mediator and Lawyer


Judy has worked in the area of conflict resolution for 23 years. She has designed and run programs in conflict resolution, mediation, interest-based negotiation and communication skills. She continues to teach alternative dispute resolution (mediation) at a tertiary level.

Judy has successfully used her mediation and negotiation skills in several areas of dispute or conflict. She is committed to empowering the disputing parties by assisting them reach their own agreements. This is achieved by helping the parties better understand the issues behind the dispute. By addressing what is concerning the parties and what is important to them, a win/win outcome is more achievable.

Nicholas has had extensive and comprehensive mediation training and experience over a period of 21 years. His areas of specialty include workplace and grievance difficulties, neighbourhood and multi-party conflicts, contractual disputes, family disagreements, parent-adolescent disputes and all the issues surrounding divorce and separation.

Nicholas is committed to the ideas and concepts of mediation, especially empowerment of the parties/participants by them controlling the input and the outcome. The lasting and workable solutions of mediation, the confidentiality of its content and the impartiality and neutrality of the mediators, mean that mediation has all the necessary ingredients to make it an effective form of dispute resolution.
